We all have troubles, trials, and struggles in life. Many of us pray to G-d for an answer, for change. When we find ourselves waiting, we can wonder will He respond? Does He care? The answer is yes.

Recently, there have been several answers to prayer in my life and in the lives of my family members on what could be called “small stuff” but it has really stuck with me and has brought a lot of encouragement. So, I thought I would share it with all of you and you could be encouraged too.
The first incident was probably a week ago. My dad had run out of some of his medicine and when he called the pharmacy, they said that the previous bottle should have lasted a month longer and that he wouldn’t be able to get a refill for another month. When my parents called the doctor’s office, same deal. However, my mom was told she could bring the last prescription in to the pharmacy and explain that there was an error and how my dad didn’t have enough medicine. Everyone was nervous and based on the phone calls my mom made it didn’t look like my dad would get a refill. However, my dad said let’s pray as my mom was going into the pharmacy. We did and my mom came out with great news, they would be able to give a refill. More than that, she said that the person who helped her was very polite and didn’t make any issue of it, which was surprising given what we had been told.
Second answer, also about a week ago. So I had been hired at a place but they didn’t tell me some stuff about the job, long story short I couldn’t fulfill the responsibilities and had to resign. Not exactly how I wanted my summer to go. My family prayed for favor in finding another job and I got a call that day about a job opportunity. Coincedence, I think not!! While that job turned out not to be the right fit, it gave me the encouragement I needed and it was definitely a reminder from G-d. It was as if He was saying, I see what is happening and I got it covered so don’t stress. And that is the point of sharing these stories, not to say hey my prayers were answered, but to remind you that hey G-d sees everything in your life right now and if you trust Him, He will work it all out for good.
Alright the third one, so two days ago-ish, my brother plugged in the vacuum to do some cleaning and then ZAP – some of the lights went out upstairs for no reason. To say the least, this was concerning and we didn’t know exactly what had happened. My mom checked the breakers, was looking at the outlet, etc. Well someone suggested that she restart the main, or in another words give the system a reboot. On the way home we prayed that it wouldn’t be anything we had to fix. Fast forward about twenty minutes and – ZAP – the lights were back.
All of these stories just go to show that G-d answers prayers both big and small. You, me, and 8 billion individuals have issues and some of them are let’s just say it – scary and overwhelming seemingly with no solution, YIKES. However, in those situations and in our whole life G-d wants to move and He longs to answer your prayers. I don’t understand why we have a long wait sometimes, but I know that G-d only brings good to our lives. So will you let Him?
Hopefully this blog encouraged you and please don’t forget to like, share and comment!!
